Beer Dock’s Top Three Draught

They might have shifted the music charts to Friday, but we’re wrapping up the Beer Dock week with our very own top three draught chart. Really, we have a staggering array of bottled beers but we also serve some spectacular ales from the tap. Regulars to the Nantwich Road outlet will know that our beers don’t last long; you need to get in quick! There’s plenty of variety, usually something to appeal to all drinkers. So, in reverse order, here’s what you’ve been quaffing most this week:

3 – MOSAIC EQUINOX pale ale, 5.4% from The Kernel brewery in Bermondsey, South-East London.

2 – QUIET RIOT IPA, 6.6% from the Anarchy Brew Co. in Morpeth, Northumberland.

And… drum roll… our top-selling draught this week…

1 – AKA IPA, 6.7% from the Cromarty Brewing Company in Ross-Shire, Scotland. A deserved winner this week, as anyone lucky enough to grab a pint will testify. Strong without being overbearing, sweet(ish) with a toasted pine aroma that leaves you with a delicious citrus aftertaste. Considered by many to be amongst the best IPAs in Scotland, the beer pours gloriously golden, amber with the perfect white head. Quality.

Our bottled beer top three will be posted on Monday…
